As the world grapples with the unprecedented challenge of COVID-19, our thoughts are with the people around the globe who are affected.
In these uncertain times we wanted to keep you in the loop as to what policies and procedures Avery Estate Agents are putting in place to help safeguard your health, and the well-being of our team. We want to ensure that we can still provide the high level of service that we have for over 30 years.
We are still up and running.
We are still conducting valuations & selling property.
We are still conducting viewings.
An Important Update
Initially, we would like to make the following notice of importance;
As part of the national effort to help contain Covid-19, Avery are practicing social distance to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and families.
Our Milton office is not currently taking walk-ins and customers or visitors and whilst staff members will be in office the door will be locked at all times.
Please call 01934 614893 or email (or a staff members direct email) if you need to speak to a member of staff. Currently we have no members of staff with any symptoms, so we are all available.
If it is absolutely necessary to speak with a member of staff in-person, please arrange an appointment; call 01934 614893 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you need to drop any documentation into the office, please post it through the letterbox.
What will we do to help safeguard our clients?
We are offering sellers the option for us to create 'Video Tours' to try and accommodate any potential buyer that cannot attend the property.
The 'video tours' will only be available upon request after taking full details from the viewer, and will not be available publicly.
In the case of any 'in person' viewings:
We will be asking all potential viewers the same 5 questions above to try and minimise contact between people at risk.
We will ask sellers to pop out of their properties during any viewings, practicing social distancing advice.
We ask all sellers to prop open all interior doors with stoppers before viewings, this reduces the need for anyone touching door handles.
Our members of staff will wear disposable gloves before entering any property, and provide pairs to viewers if needed.
We will be providing updates with regards to Covid-19 and the property market to keep our clients informed.
As the situation develops, we will ensure that our policies and procedures are frequently updated to reflect the most recent professional advisories.
If there is anything we can do to help you further, or if you have any suggestions you would like to make to us, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your understanding, we wish you our best attention at all times.
