I am constantly being asked why did I stop doing my Darens Diary and quite a few people say it was one of the reasons they bought the local paper to read my stories and more often than not about my mishaps!

So for 2023 it makes a return and I will be using our social media platforms to inform, update and hopefully entertain you on the life of an Estate Agent!

So what’s happened since I last spoke to you….?? As Averys start their 35th year in business you will still see some familiar faces alongside myself being Mandi and Eva providing years of agency experience. The team has grown in recent months as we have two new members to the team. Max has started as a Trainee Sales Negotiator and is currently studying hard for his Property Mark Qualifications. Chelsea has joined the Lettings team and if you are a current tenant, you will probably have already met her on the regular property letting inspections.

It is fair to say that the housing market as well as the wider economy is experiencing some challenging times. (I think this is my 4th recession I have experienced in Estate Agency) My view is that this is when experience really matters and a time when hopefully we can provide the right advice to still enable you to move achieving the best possible price and in the best timescale possible. So, what about any news outside work. You will be pleased to hear no personal injuries, falling off bikes, holiday mishaps, being locked in houses- I think I must be getting old! However, I think Max may be taking on the baton as he has always got a story to tell and is turning into the new Arthur Daley. One thing that hasn’t changed in my life is Bristol City are still rubbish!!!
